Energy Skate Park Lesson
Title
|
Energy Skate Park Lesson |
Description
|
Students will work with the Energy Skate Park simulation to identify the factors that influence the amounts of potential and kinetic energy the skater has at various points in his motion as well as to be able to describe quantitatively what happens when friction is introduced into the setup.
There were problems with the simulation that would not allow this activity to work as intended; however, I am hopeful that programming changes might make it possible in the future. Notes to the programmers are indicated within the lesson document in red. |
